You feel it, don’t you? There’s something moving deep inside you, something pressing against your heart so intensely that you can no longer ignore it. It keeps you up at night, tossing and turning, your mind racing with thoughts you can’t seem to shake. You try to push them aside, distract yourself, pretend they’re not there—but they are. And they won’t go away. This isn’t just a passing thought or feeling. It’s God calling you, whispering, “It’s time.”
But here’s the question—are you feeding your fear and starving your faith?
If you find yourself hesitating, maybe it’s time to stop running. “Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10). No matter how far you go, no matter how much you try to blend into the crowd, you can never hide from God. And why would you want to? He’s the One who formed you, the One who knows you better than you know yourself. That calling that won’t let go of you? He placed it inside of you before you ever took your first breath.
I know what it’s like to wake up in the middle of the night, frustrated because morning is coming too fast. But what if those restless nights aren’t just sleepless moments? What if they’re divine wake-up calls? What if the discomfort you keep brushing off is God’s way of trying to get your attention?
You see the signs everywhere—a conversation, on TV, social media, a sermon, even moments of silence that feel heavy with meaning. And yet, you keep ignoring them. So God does what He does best: He isolates you. He removes distractions, silences the noise, and makes sure that His voice is the only one you can hear. He did it with Paul on the Damascus Road. He did it with Moses in the wilderness. He did it with Joseph in the pit. And now, He’s doing it with you.
It’s okay to feel afraid. Even Ezekiel struggled with his calling (Ezekiel 3:14-15). But his hesitation didn't change the fact that he was chosen. And neither does yours.
You are called to something greater, and it’s not for your glory; it’s for God’s. Don't abort the mission. Some of you are at the end of your wilderness season, standing on the edge of your promised land. But don’t let doubt and disobedience delay your breakthrough.
The Israelites journey to the promise land should have taken eleven days. Instead, it took forty years. Not because of the enemy, but because they doubted, complained, and refused to trust the God who had already proven Himself. How many years have you lost because of fear?
“Faith the size of a mustard seed" can move mountains (Matthew 17:20). Don't let fear prolong your journey. There is a shift happening right now. God is positioning His people for greatness. This is not the time to hesitate. This is the time to step forward in faith. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).When God calls you, He equips you. When He sends you, He goes with you. You are never alone.
I remember the loneliest time in my life—when I first confessed that Jesus was Lord. But looking back, I realize I wasn’t alone; I was being prepared. Maybe you're waiting on God’s perfect timing, but what if He's waiting on you? Sometimes He isolates you to make His voice clearer, to quiet the chaos in your mind. Some of us have allowed too many voices to drown out His. If you’re struggling to hear Him, maybe it’s time to remove the distractions.
The time is now. If you were waiting for a sign, here it is. When your “yes" is real, your life will never look the same. The people around you won’t look the same—not because they’ve changed, but because you have. You have shifted. You have surrendered. And now, you have nowhere left to run.
`
Lift your hands. Surrender. God is calling. It’s faith over fear.
Pray with Me:
Heavenly Father,
I hear You. I feel You moving in my life, calling me to step forward in faith. No more running. No more excuses. I surrender. Lead me, guide me, and give me the strength to walk boldly in the purpose You have for me. I choose faith over fear. I trust You completely.
