You Are Not Forgotten—God Sees You

Guess what? If no one has told you lately, let me be the one to remind you: You are amazing. Your life has meaning, and it’s not by accident. God knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5). You are a blessing, even if no one else sees it yet.

Think about this: Yesterday is gone, never to be seen again. Tomorrow is uncertain, and if we’re blessed to see it, praise God. But today—today is a gift, a holy opportunity to glorify the One who gave you breath.

So, what’s been taking up space in your mind lately? Is it peace and joy? Or fear, loneliness, anxiety? Be honest with yourself. Sometimes, we suppress our pain and forget we were never meant to carry it alone.

For a long time, I didn’t realize how much I was struggling. I felt lost—unseen, uncertain, unsure of my worth. I thought that if I worked harder, made more money, or followed the “expected” path, I’d finally find peace. But peace never came. I was always chasing something just out of reach.

It wasn’t until God called me to step into His light that everything changed. I thought I had it all together. I heard sermons, motivational talks, and convinced myself I was on the right track. But deep down, I realized I was where I wanted to be, not where God wanted me to be. That’s when God opened my eyes to His truth about my life. It was my own “Damascus Road” moment—like Saul before he became Paul.

In that moment, God showed me who I was, not just to give me identity, but to reveal who He was. I stepped out in faith, and though it wasn’t easy or immediate, peace began to fill the spaces I had been trying to fill with the wrong things. I realized God had been waiting for me to knock, to seek Him with my whole heart.

Maybe you’re feeling like I did—carrying a burden you weren’t meant to bear, unsure of what’s next, or if anyone sees you. You may feel stuck, wondering if anything will ever change. But I’m here to tell you: You’re not alone. God is waiting for you to ask, to seek, to knock on His door. He’s ready to show you a love and peace that only He can provide.

Jesus tells a powerful story in Luke 11:5–13 about a man who knocked on his friend’s door at midnight asking for bread. At first, the friend didn’t respond, but because the man kept knocking, he eventually received what he needed. This is how God wants us to come to Him—with bold, persistent faith. He may not answer right away, but that doesn’t mean He isn’t listening. He’s waiting to see if you’ll keep knocking. As Jesus said in Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” These aren’t just words—they’re promises.

So ask—not with hesitation, but with confidence. Seek—not the world, but the Kingdom. Knock—and trust that the right doors will open in God’s perfect timing.

People may let you down. Life may break your heart. But God? He never will. His love is unconditional. His grace is unshakable. His promises are unchanging. When everyone else disappears, He is still right there.

Your relationship with God is the most important connection you’ll ever have. No one will love you like He does. No one will sacrifice like Jesus did. No one will stay with you through the storm like the Holy Spirit will. “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” He promised—and He meant it.

So today, make a choice.
Ask.
Seek.
Knock.
And let God in.

He’s been waiting for you—ready to pour out love, to lift your burdens, and to remind you that you are His—deeply loved, eternally valued, and completely seen.

Pray with me.

Father God,
Thank You for seeing me—truly seeing me. I surrender my worries, my doubts, and my fears to You today. I ask for Your strength, Your guidance, and Your peace. I choose today to knock, to seek, and to ask. Help me walk in the confidence of knowing that I am Your child, that I am loved beyond measure, and that I am never alone.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
