Have you ever watched a show, game, or movie and found yourself yelling at the screen, frustrated by what’s happening? You act like the characters can hear you—but they can’t.
Now, imagine someone secretly recorded the last two weeks of your life. Picture your family, friends, coworkers, and loved ones gathered in a theater, about to watch it all unfold on the big screen.
As the movie begins, you realize—you are the main character.
Would you watch with confidence, or would there be moments you wish you could erase? Would you feel embarrassed by the way you acted, the things you said, or the choices you made?
That’s a tough thought, isn’t it?
But here’s the reality—God sees it all.Nothing in creation is hidden from Him (Hebrews 4:13). Yet, we often spend more time worrying about what people think rather than what God knows.
We try to hide our flaws, struggles, and sins from people, fearing judgment. But the truth is, God is the only one whose approval truly matters.
Many of us are carrying things we were never meant to hold onto—unforgiveness, anger, bitterness, and shame.
Just because someone is saved or appears to have it all together doesn’t mean they aren’t struggling with something deep inside. Some people feel trapped, afraid to let anyone see the real them, fearing rejection.
But here’s the thing—God already knows, and He still loves you.
Jeremiah 17:5 warns us: “Cursed is the person who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord."
Depending on people alone for validation, healing, or acceptance will always leave us empty. Only God can fill that void.
One of the hardest things in life—whether you’re a believer or not—is forgiving yourself or someone who has hurt you.
I’ll never forget what someone told me when I first gave my life to Christ. “The people in the church will hurt you more than the people in the world."
I laughed it off—until months later when those very words became my reality. The hurt was real, and I almost walked away from the church completely.
But then I remembered Jesus’ words in Matthew 18:21-22: “Lord, how many times should I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Seven times?"Jesus replied, "Not seven times, but seventy-seven times."
Jesus was saying, forgiveness isn’t about keeping score—it’s about setting yourself free.
Holding onto bitterness keeps you trapped in the pain. But when you release it to God, you're set free.
People will let you down. Promises will be broken. Some people will hurt you—intentionally or unintentionally. And often, it’s those closest to us.
But here’s a question to consider: How many times have we hurt God? Yet, despite our failures, He loves us unconditionally. Despite our mistakes, He forgives us completely.
The Bible says, “How can you say you love God if you hate your brother or sister?"(1 John 4:20).
Jesus commands us, “Love one another so that people will know you are my disciples."(John 13:34-35)
Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting—it means trusting God with the outcome. It means letting go so you can move forward.
Want to see a miracle? Go look in the mirror. Yes, YOU are a miracle. The fact that you are alive today, reading this message, means God still has a purpose for you.
You want to see love? Read the Bible.
You want to experience freedom? Surrender to God.
When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, knowing He was about to be betrayed, beaten, and crucified, He still prayed: "Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done." (Luke 22:42)
He knew the suffering ahead, yet He chose obedience. He chose the cross because He choseYOU.
And in His final moments, hanging between two criminals, He uttered the most powerful words: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."(Luke 23:34)
If Jesus could forgive the very people who nailed Him to the cross, what is stopping us from forgiving others?
Your destiny is ahead of you, not behind you. Your breakthrough is in front of you. God has already given you the strength to overcome - He's just waiting for you to take the step.
When you let go, God will move.
Pray With Me:
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for seeing me, knowing me, and loving me despite my flaws. I surrender my burdens, my pain, and my unforgiveness to You. Help me to walk in freedom and extend the same grace You’ve given me to others. Strengthen me to trust You fully and live for Your glory.
