Do you realize the power that’s inside of you? Not just the kind of power that helps you get through the day, but the kind of power that breaks barriers, erase limits, and changes your life.
The truth is, you can do anything you set your mind to. Yes, anything. That dream you’ve been holding onto? That goal you’ve been afraid to chase? It’s within reach. But somewhere along the way, someone convinced you that you couldn’t. Maybe it was a person’s words. Maybe it was years of doubt. Maybe it was fear whispering in your ear, planting the thought that you are not enough. And now, you’re stuck believing a lie.
The mind is powerful. Whatever you feed it will grow. What you listen to, what you accept, what you allow to take root in your spirit—it all shapes the way you see yourself, the way you think, and ultimately, the way you live. Proverbs 18:21 reminds us. “The tongue has the power of life and death.”
Some people have talked themselves out of greatness without even realizing it. Some have let the wrong voices shape their identity. Some have believed lies that were never true in the first place.
So let me ask you: can you recognize the truth from a lie?
Think about Adam and Eve. Before they ate the forbidden fruit, they had everything—paradise, perfect peace, unlimited access to God. They lacked nothing. But one wrong voice changed everything.
Genesis 3:1 says, “Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made." The serpent didn’t force Eve to eat the fruit. He didn’t have to. All he did was plant doubt.
“Did God really say…?"
That one question was enough to shift her entire perspective. One seed of uncertainty, one twisted version of the truth, and suddenly, she saw what was off-limits as something desirable. And isn’t that exactly how the enemy still works today? He doesn’t always come at you with something obvious. He waits. He watches. He studies you.
Then, when you’re tired, vulnerable, or alone—he whispers. "You’ll never be good enough." "God doesn’t really care about you." "You’re too broken to be used." "You’ll always be stuck." And if you hear those lies enough times, you start to believe them.
1 John 4:1 warns us to “test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” This is a reminder to be discerning in who you listen to. Not every voice is from God.
The enemy’s goal has always been the same: to steal, kill, and destroy. But his first attack isn’t on your finances, your relationships, or your health. He starts with your mind. Because if he can get you to believe the wrong things about yourself, about God, and about your purpose, then he doesn’t need to do anything else. You’ll defeat yourself.
But here’s the good news: Jesus came to set you free.
You don’t have to live trapped in fear, doubt, or insecurity. The truth will set you free. John 8:32 tells us, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." Jesus is the truth, and through Him, we find freedom from every lie that holds us back.
That’s why discernment is so important. Not every voice in your life is from God. Not every word spoken over you is meant for you. Be careful who you allow to pour into you. Even the believers in the Bible didn’t just take Paul’s word for things—they checked the Scriptures daily to make sure what he said was true (Acts 17:11).
So I ask you again: who has been speaking into your life? Who told you that you couldn’t? Who convinced you that you weren’t enough? Because it wasn’t God.
It’s time to break free. You are not stuck. You are not defeated. You are not disqualified. The life you’ve been longing for isn’t some far-off dream. If you want a better life, you can have it. If you want financial freedom, you can build it. If you want peace, joy, and purpose, you can step into it. But you have to make a choice.
The battle isn’t against people—it’s a spiritual fight. The enemy wants to keep you distracted, discouraged, and defeated. But God says you are more than a conqueror. He says you are chosen, loved, and called for something greater. And yet, the enemy will do everything in his power to keep you from believing that.
So here’s the truth: you have two choices. You can believe what God says about you, or you can believe the lies of the enemy. You can choose faith, or you can choose fear. You can step into your calling, or you can stay stuck in self-doubt. But you cannot do both.
It’s time to decide.
