What’s holding you back? Fear? Doubt? A voice in your head whispering, You’re not enough? Maybe you’re standing on the edge of your destiny but too afraid to leap. Are you stuck in a job, relationship, or situation that God’s been calling you to leave behind?
Fear has a way of paralyzing us. It convinces us that our dreams are impossible, that we’re unworthy of the life God planned for us. But here’s the truth: until you believe God’s promises for your life, you’ll never fully step into the abundance He has for you.
I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to feel stuck, staring at the life I prayed for but unable to take the first step. Fear told me I didn’t have what it takes. Faith whispered back, “You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you” (Philippians 4:13). It wasn’t easy, but I chose to trust God—and everything changed.
Think back to your childhood. Remember the question adults loved to ask: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Maybe you dreamed of being a doctor, teacher, artist, or someone extraordinary. But along the way, someone may have told you those dreams were impossible, and you believed them. Did you settle for less than what God created you for?
What if I told you that everything you’ve prayed for is waiting on the other side of fear? What if unlocking your destiny means activating the faith that’s already inside you?
The Bible tells us, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move” (Matthew 17:20). A mustard seed is only 1–2 millimeters in size, yet God says that’s all the faith we need for miracles. Faith isn’t about being fearless—it’s about trusting God enough to take the first step.
Fear, on the other hand, does more than keep us stuck. It steals our joy, clouds our thinking, and separates us from God. The more we feed fear, the louder it grows. But here’s the key: whatever you feed will grow. If you feed your faith, it will flourish. If you trust God in the face of fear, you’ll experience the breakthrough you’ve been waiting for.
Here’s where it starts:
Stop seeking approval from the wrong people. Not everyone in your life deserves access to your dreams. Judas walked with Jesus, yet he betrayed Him. Guard your heart and trust that God will place the right people in your life at the right time.
Shift your focus to God’s Word. When fear tries to overwhelm you, speak God’s promises over your life. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Take one small step of faith. Maybe it’s a phone call, a decision, or simply spending time in prayer. Faith grows when you act on it. Remember, even small steps move you closer to your destiny.
Pray for strength and clarity. Ask God to help you see the situation through His eyes. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).
