What Are You Believing God For?

What have you been praying for tirelessly, yet it still hasn’t come to pass?

Maybe it’s a new job, a fresh start. Maybe it’s the courage to walk away from a toxic relationship or a job that has drained every ounce of joy from you. Maybe you’re overwhelmed by life, feeling like there’s no way out.

Or maybe you’re carrying something no one else knows about, a silent struggle, a prayer whispered in the dark—waiting, hoping, but feeling abandoned. Maybe you’re exhausted, pouring into everyone else while feeling unseen, unheard, invisible to those closest to you.

But hear me: God sees you. He has heard your prayers. He is answering-even now.

Sometimes, the problem isn’t that God hasn’t answered—it’s that we’re looking for the answer in the wrong way. God’s perspective isn’t ours. His ways are higher. What if the door you’ve been knocking on isn’t the one He’s opening? What if the enemy has been whispering lies, convincing you that God has left you, when in reality, He’s right beside you, waiting for you to shift your focus?

One of the enemy's greatest tactics is to make you believe God has abandoned you. That’s a lie straight from the pit of hell. God has promised, “I will never to leave you or forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6).

You are not alone.

Depression is not your identity.
Worry is not your inheritance.
Fear is not your future.

Maybe you’re waiting for a phone call—but God is waiting for you to answer His call. Maybe you don’t know what tomorrow holds, but God never asked you to. His Word says, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” (Matthew 6:34) He wants you to live in today.

Instead of chasing people, positions, or possessions—God wants you to chase Him.

If God is in the passenger seat of your life, it’s time to move over and let Him drive. You don't have to have it all figured out. If you’re tired of the uphill battle, weary from feeling stuck, and exhausted from doing it on your own—surrender. Submit your will for His. His way is always better.

Many of us carry wounds—unforgiveness, regret, disappointment. We say we’re waiting on God, but sometimes, He’s waiting on us to take a step of faith.

The Bible says, “Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). But faith is key—when you ask, believe. When you knock, be ready to walk through the door.

God has opened a new door for you, but you can't step into what He has prepared until you're willing to close the old one.

Let it go. Release it. What’s waiting on the other side of your obedience is greater than anything you’re afraid to lose.

You are not reading this by accident. God is speaking to you, trying to get your attention. He has been calling, but have you been listening?

Maybe you’ve been waiting for a sign. This is your sign. It’s time to stop letting fear, doubt, and distractions keep you from fully surrendering to Him.

Instead of worrying, seek Him. The Bible says, “You will find me when you seek me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). He knows your needs before you even ask. He loves you more than anyone ever could.

If you’ve been running on empty, now is the time to refuel your soul in His presence. Lay everything at His feet.

Step forward in faith—let go of what’s holding you back and walk through the door God has opened for you!

Pray This With Me:

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for seeing me, for loving me, and for never leaving me. I surrender my worries, my fears, and my plans to You. Open my eyes to see what You have already answered. Give me the strength to walk away from anything that pulls me away from You.

Help me to trust You fully, to seek You above all else, and to walk through the doors You have opened for me. I cast my burdens on You, knowing You care for me. Fill me with Your peace, and remind me that I am never alone.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
