Whatever you do, no matter how hard the road gets, don’t you dare give up—not on yourself, and definitely not on the dream God placed in your heart. I know it’s been tough. Maybe you’ve been praying for weeks… months… even years. And still, the answer hasn’t come. Still, the door hasn’t opened. Still, you're staring at the sky wondering, God, do You see me?
But hear this: keep moving forward.
There will be people who don’t see what you see. And that’s okay—because the dream isn’t theirs. It was never meant for their vision. God gave it to YOU. Some people can’t support what they don’t understand. They’ll doubt you. Dismiss you. Even discourage you.
But let them. Because they’re not the author of your story—God is.
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” —Philippians 1:6
Take Joseph, for example. He shared his dream with his brothers, thinking they'd celebrate. Instead, jealousy blinded them, and they threw him into a pit. Can you imagine that? Looking up from that dark place, crying, confused, betrayed. But even then—God had a plan.
Joseph went from the pit, to being sold, to serving in Potiphar’s house—where God’s favor followed him. But just when things started to look up, the enemy came swinging. He was falsely accused and thrown into prison. Again, he could’ve given up. But God wasn’t done. And even in the prison—God was positioning him for the palace.
So maybe right now, you feel like Joseph. Forgotten. Isolated. Maybe you're crying out from your own kind of pit. But hear me—God hasn’t forgotten you. He’s forming you. That dream you carry? It's still alive. And it’s still possible.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” —Romans 8:28
It started when Joseph opened his mouth and shared what God showed him—but remember, not everyone can handle your vision. That doesn’t mean you’re wrong. That doesn’t mean it’s not from God. It just means you’ve been called to something greater.
I remember walking into a church once, just planning to meet with one of the church leaders. But before I even got to her, a woman teaching a class looked me in the eye and said something that changed everything:
“Stop trying to fit in. Let God place you.”
Wait what? That hit me like a left hook. And maybe that’s a word for you too. Maybe you’ve been forcing things—jobs, friendships, opportunities—trying to make something happen on your own. But God is strategic. When He shifts you, it’s not rejection—it’s redirection.
“A person’s heart plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps.” —Proverbs 16:9
You might think you're on the right road. You might feel like everything’s lining up. And then—bam—God shifts everything. But guess what? You’re still right on schedule. God's schedule.
When He removes something, it’s because He’s making room. When He isolates you, it’s to quiet the noise so you can hear Him. The shift isn’t punishment. It’s preparation.
So don’t panic when things don’t go as planned. Don’t fear being alone. God is repositioning you. He’s protecting the promise inside of you. And just like Joseph, what the enemy meant for harm—God will turn for good.
And here's something important: You don’t have to tell everyone everything. Some things are sacred. Some things are just between you and God. Protect the promise. Guard what God put in your heart
When Joseph finally came face to face with his brothers—the ones who betrayed him—he forgave them. And then he blessed them. That’s what walking with God looks like. It’s not about revenge. It’s about restoration.
Let me keep it real: I’m not perfect. I don’t have all the answers. But I trust God. Even when I don’t understand the “how,” I believe in the Who. And with every breath I have, I will praise the Lord.
“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” —Isaiah 40:31
So when life throws curveballs—and it will—stand firm. Keep walking. Keep believing. Because God is not finished with your story. In fact, your life is about to take a beautiful turn. Something amazing is coming.
Get ready. He’s doing it for His glory—and your good.
